Director, Robotics & Autonomous Systems Programs

Aaron Prather is the Director of Robotics & Autonomous Systems Programs at ASTM International. He focuses on advancing programs related to these technologies and is also passionate about workforce development initiatives to build the 21st-century workforce in manufacturing, logistics, robotics, and automation.

With a strong background in the deployment of robotics and autonomous systems, Aaron brings practical, global experience to his role. He has expertise in logistics, robotics, and automation, and he has participated in standards development with A3 (formerly RIA) and UL. Prior to joining ASTM, Aaron developed and deployed robotics and autonomous systems into numerous operations across the globe in a previous role at FedEx.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Memphis and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Christian Brothers University.
