Design and Application Consultant

Duann Scott, Design and Application Consultant with Wohlers Associates has over 15 years’ experience in computational design and additive manufacturing, is founder of Bits to Atoms and the CDFAM Computational Design (+DfAM) Symposium, Executive Director of the 3MF Consortium and is also involved in MIT’s AM programs both teaching the AMx course and advising on partnerships for the Center for Additive and Digital Advanced Production Technologies.

Duann has worked for and with software, hardware and service bureaus in the additive manufacturing space including leadership roles at Autodesk, nTopology and Shapeways, as well as consulting for HP, Formlabs, Inkbit, Holo and more. He has spoken at conferences around the world and lectured at leading educational institutions including MIT, NYU, RISD, Columbia University, Parsons and Pratt.

His opinions and insights have found their way into publications as diverse as the New York Times, Forbes, Quartz and CNN Money, through to Wired, Gizmodo, Fast Company, and even Vogue.
